Educational Eligibility
To apply for the post of Law Clerk / Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate in the Supreme Court of India, candidates must fulfill the following educational qualification:
• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
• The law degree can be obtained through:
– 3-year LLB course after graduation, or
– 5-year integrated law course after 10+2.
• The degree should be awarded by a recognized Indian university or institution.
• The law institution must be approved by the Bar Council of India, making the candidate eligible for enrolment as an Advocate.
Eligibility of Final-Year Students
• Candidates who are studying in the final year of their LLB course (last year of 3-year or 5-year law program) are allowed to apply.
• Such candidates must complete their law degree before joining the Law Clerk assignment.
