Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2. Candidates who appeared in Class 12 examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
3. Candidates who passed Class 12 in the years 2024 or 2025 are eligible.
Required Subjects in Class 12:
1. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.
Along with the above, candidates must have studied at least one subject from the following:
1. Chemistry
2. Biology
3. Biotechnology
4. Technical Vocational Subject
Year of Passing Rule:
1. Only candidates passing Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026 are permitted.
2. Candidates who passed Class 12 before 2024 are not eligible.
Important Note:
1. There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main 2026.
2. Eligibility conditions are applicable only for appearing in the examination.
3. Admission eligibility for NITs, IIITs, and other institutes may have additional requirements at the counselling stage.
1. Visit the official NTA JEE Main website.
2. Click on the link for JEE Main 2026 Session II Online Application.
3. Complete the new registration by entering basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
4. After registration, log in using the application number and password generated.
5. Fill in the application form carefully with personal, academic, and contact details.
6. Select the exam session, paper, and exam city preferences as required.
7. Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
8. Pay the application fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
9. Review all details and submit the application form.
10. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Instructions:
1. Fill all details correctly as per Class 10 and Class 12 records.
2. Use a valid mobile number and email ID for future communication.
3. Keep the application number and login details safe until the admission process is complete.
