Educational Qualification for Nursing Officer (NORCET-10)
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
Option 1
A B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution, along with valid registration as Nurse and Midwife with a State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council.
Option 2
A Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute, with registration as Nurse and Midwife with a State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council, and a minimum of two years of work experience in a hospital (at least 50 beds) after registration.
This qualification is required for the Nursing Officer posts conducted through the NORCET examination by All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
